Tri‑Cities, Tenn. — May 1, 2026 — Premier Transportation, a leading provider of charter motorcoach services in Tennessee, has officially opened its new Tri‑Cities facility, marking a strategic return to a region the company has proudly served for more than 20 years.
Located at the crossroads of Interstates 26 and 81, with convenient access to Kingsport, Johnson City, and Bristol, the new service center positions Premier to better support clients throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The expansion responds to growing regional demand for reliable, high‑capacity group transportation.
The Tri‑Cities operation brings Premier closer to many long‑standing clients, reducing deadhead travel, improving operational efficiency, and delivering cost savings for schools, businesses, churches, and athletic programs that were previously served from the company’s Knoxville headquarters.

Led by Callie Clark, Operations Manager for Premier Tri‑Cities, the facility is expected to support 10 to 15 local jobs, including professional motorcoach operators, maintenance technicians, and operations staff. Many Premier drivers already reside in the Tri‑Cities area and previously commuted to Knoxville, making the new facility both a workforce investment and a quality‑of‑life improvement for team members.
